I made these cute little Christmas treats for the wonderful staff at Central Elementary! I love the versatility of the "Two Tags" die cut! Add a mini Hershey bar and a snowflake on top! A little something for all their hard work!

These little treats are made with the "Candy Wrapper" die cut! I LOVE LOVE LOVE my Big Shot. If you don't own one, you should! I made these for the custodians and cafeteria workers at the school! Nothing like spreading "Christmas Cheer"!

I love Effiel Towers, Paris, Black & Pink! I especially LOVE it when it's in an ornament! I made this cute ornament this evening and I'm extrememly happy with the way it turned out! I heat embossed on a window sheet. I used "Artistic Etchings" stamp set (my fav!)
I then added some feathers from a boa, trimmed down to size! Add some ribbon and Qui! Ooh La La!! I <3 it! I added some "bling" rhinestones to the outside to give it that extra oomph!

Sorry I've been MIA for a while. I am the PTA President at my children's elementary school. So needless to say, I've been swamped.

I chair the Teacher Appreciation committee at the school as well, and for every holiday I make a little something for the staff.

For Thanksgiving, I made these cute cookie holders. These were made with..are you ready for this?.....paper CD holder sleeves! Yep! How cool is that? Super easy and super simple!

July 13-16th was Stampin' UP!'s convention. I was unable to attend yet again this year, so I organized a Non-Convention swap for those of us demos that couldn't attend convention. I made this cute little card. Pinwheels seem to be very popular right now, and I think they are just adorable!

Surprise and Delight INKDemos Retreat

This past weekend my INKDemos group had a Surprise and Delight Stampin' Retreat! It was a blast! I was asked if I would be a guest presenter. I showed this fun technique using the PetalCone Die. Right now, the Petal Cone Die is on the Carryover list, but it will be in the NEW 2011-2012 Catalog.

When I first saw this die, I thought I could live without it! I was SO wrong. I just had to have it when I saw this cool technique.

These are just a few the samples I made using the Petal Cone Die. I had so much fun showing other Stampin' Up! Demonstrators this neat idea. I can not take credit for coming up with this design. I honestly don't know who came up with the idea, but I'm glad they shared their idea! I LOVE my job!

I just love everything about Spring. I especially LOVE the all the flowers blooming. Our INKDemos group has a monthly themed swap, and our theme just so happened to be "anything flowers".

This stampset is one of my FAVORITES! It's just called "Just Believe". I used the Vintage Wallpaper Embossing Folder (another fav), and added some spritzing!

I made this sweet card for my son's teacher. I CASE'd this from a sweet fellow demonstrator, Margaret. I had ordered the Fun Flowers Die, but sadly it's on backorder (insert big frown), so I used the Fancy Flower Punch instead. I love the black and white and the Rose Red gave it that added touch. Faux Watercolored Card

Hi there! I have seen this technique for quite some time now, and I FINALLY tried it a few nights ago. I used Stampin' Up! Upsy Daisy stampset. I colored the stamp with my Stampin' Write Markers and then spritzed the stamp with water. It created this beautiful image that looks like it's been watercolored. BEAUTIFUL! I made this card for a sweet mommy at my son's school.

Today we had some fun making Christmas Cheer!

The 1st thing we did was glass etch on a glass plate.

The 2nd thing we did was heat emboss on a salt shaker. This is my favorite. We added some red hot candies and some bells. It's to sprinkle some "Christmas Cheer".

Our last project today was heat embossed image inside a glass ornament. I love these! It looks like a snowglobe, but it's an ornament!

Hello ya'll!

I've been on busy chic. Literally. I don't think I've had time to just sit and think about nothing. I'm going to school full time, plus a full time mommy to 3 children, plus PTA, Parent Counsel Member, and my Stampin' business. Do you see now why I've been so busy? :-) I wouldn't trade it for the world!!

I've had a couple of orders recently, and I thought I would show you what I've been working on.

The first picture is of the famous "Scratch Pad Holder". My fabulous upline, Connie, created this. What's so great about it is that it is only made from 1 sheet of cardstock. These are "Thank you" gifts for Moore High School Coachs' wives.

Did ya miss me? I know, I know... it's been too long! I apologize for that. It's been CRAZY!!! AGHH!!! Okay, so I sat down tonight and stamped to my heart's desire. *happy sigh*

I wasn't going to make anything for my monthly InkDemo's swap, but I saw something similar to this and just had to CASe it!

Really cute huh? I will admit it. I just got this punch, like yesterday. It's so darn cute! What's really neat is this punch has 3 punches in 1. You have the leaf branch, the birds wing, and the birds body. Pretty neat!

Hi! I created yet another one of Becky Roberts fabulous Tres Chic Handbags (click HERE to buy Becky's template). I used Razzle Dazzle Designer Paper (which is sadly retired :-( BUT, the new catalog has Designer paper VERY similar to this one, only difference is the colors! :-)

I made this for my FABULOUS upline, Connie Stewart! She is AH-MAZING! I LOVE my job!!!

Another fabulous handbag from Becky Roberts!! This Second Handbag I made using Tempting Turqoise. I made these bags to look like the Incentive Cruise Bags that Stampin' Up! Demonstrators got while on their cruise!! Can you believe that Stampin' Up! pays for Demonstrators to take a cruise?! They do! :-) I embossed the Stampin' Up! logo with silver embossing powder and heat set it with the heat tool! I made 17 of these handbags. I hosted a Shoebox Swap for local Demonstrators who didn't get to go to Convention this year. And everyone of the gals got one of these bags! LOVE IT!!

I just love this cute stamp set, and I'm sure going to miss it! It's retiring June 30, 2010. Be sure to check out the retiring list on the right hand column. There just might be that stamp set that you've been eyeing for awhile.

This Stampset is called "Very Thankful". I used Rose Red CS, retired Bella Rose DSP, Whisper White CS (I ran the WW through the Big Shot using the Polka Dot embossing folder). I used my markers on my stamp to get it 3 different colors.

This card was cased off a card I saw on SplitCoast Stampers.

I made this sweet card for my In-Laws in AR. We stayed with them when we were on vacation.

Teacher Appreciation Week

This past week was Teacher Appreciation at my son's school. I volunteered to make all the teachers these really neat, really useful, scratch pad holders. I used Stampin' Up! What I love most about this paper is that one side already has glitter! Gotta love the "bling!" I added some ribbon and this cute flower. I also "spritz" my flower to add some shimmer!

Origami Shirt Instructions

I've had several ladies ask me how I made my origami shirt on my Father's Day Card: Here are step by step instructions with pictures.

Use a 4"X 6" Designer paper

Step 1: Fold DSP in 1/2 longways

Step 2: Open DSP and fold each side inwards toward middle crease.

Step 3: Fold top of DSP about 1/2" backwards

Step 4: Fold top 2 corners inward creating the collar

Step 5: Bring bottom of DSP to the top, tucking it just under the collar tabs

Step 6: Unfold the bottom of the shirt.

Step 7: Take each bottom corner and fold it outward, kinda creating a triangle, do on both sides. This makes the arm sleeves.

Step 8: Fold the bottom of DSP back up tucking under the collar tabs.
VOILA!!! You have a shirt. Embellish as desired.

I am loving the Rich Razzleberry Color! It's my all-time favorite! I decided to re-create the original birthday invitation for my daughter's birthday. I made into a postcard type invitation. All the information for the party is on the backside. She saw her invitations and exclaimed, very loudly, "Mommy, those are pretty! My pony party!!!!" Ahh, she melts my heart!

This was a MAT, we did for our March SU! Meeting! It's a Stampin' Up! Two-Tags die cut, with stamped tissue paper, punched out with the new Stampin' Up! flower punch. You can't see it very well, but we also added some shimmer by adding Stampin' Up! Shimmer paint to a hand sanitizer spray bottle! LOVE IT!!! What do you think?!

Pony Party Invitations

My daughter's birthday is just around the corner and she LOVES ponies!!! When I saw the Stampin' Up! Pony Party set, I knew I had to get it!!! I wanted to make an invitation to her party that packs WOW!! I thought how cool it would be to turn a top-swing card into an invitiation!! So here is my finished work! Sorry the colors aren't as bold, it's very gray and cloudy today so I don't have a lot of light to work with!! The colors I chose are Stampin' Up! Rich Razzleberry and Pretty in Pink! I saw this really neat technique from the incredibly talented Gretchen Barron. I had to give it a try. All you use is the slit punch!!

I don't have the Milkcarton Die cute yet, but I'm gonna buy it for sure!! How cute is this? You can fill it with any kind of candy!

I just had to make a triangle box with Hershey Kisses. I used the Specialty Designer paper again. I love that paper!!

This is 2 Hershey Nuggets wrapped in Designer paper then I used 2 circle scallop punches to wrap it around the kisses. I made each one of my girls in my stamp club one of these, just to let them know how much they mean to me!!

This month's Stamp Club was Valentine Theme.
I love the "Love You Much" stamp set. What a versatile stamp set!

Here is a simple masculine card for that man in your life. I kept it very simple for the fact, well, most men like it simple.

I got a Big Shot for Christmas and I was bouncing off the ceiling. I just knew I had to show my girls how to use it. We made a gift card holder using the New Mini Designer Paper. I love how one side of the paper has glitter!!

I just had to buy the Scallop Heart Embosslit when I saw it. What's wonderful about is that the Full Heart punch fits just perfectly inside of it! Had to make a card for a "Friend to Friend" Valentine Card! I just love making Valentine cards and galore!

Sock Monkey Invitations

When I first saw the Sock Monkey Set, I knew that I had to have it! My youngest child will be turning 1 next month, so I thought the Sock Monkey would be so cute for the birthday Invitations.
I found the plates and things on a website, but the invitations were so boring.. The colors on the plates were a teal and yellow polka dots. I used Taken With Teal and YoYo Yellow. I love the 2 together. I used my white gel pen and added some dots just to give the background some spunk! I got the idea for the card off another wonderful SU! Demonstrator: Dawn Grifith. I just LOVE to make this card!

You pull the yellow ribbon at the top to reveal the invite! So Cute!

Coaster Making Class

So around Christmas time, I thought it was a really neat idea to hold a coaster making workshop. A few girls came to make these for their family and friends. Let me tell ya, these things were a HIT!! Very inexpensive to make, but oh so adorable and practical!

Many of the girls chose the Medallion, but the Upsy Daisy was a hit as well.

I made this altered notebook for my son's teacher's assistant. Let me tell you, this made her day. She has such a unique name, that she can't ever find ANYTHING with her name on it. So I personalized this for her and she Loved it!

These cards were made for Teacher Appreciation week. I had such a blas making these. I just LOVE the new In-Colors right now. I'll be sad to see them go! :-(

I've been helping the PTA out by making birthday cards for all the teachers. So here are just a few I made.

Okay, so I know this stamp set is retired, but I couldn't resist the frog. Ms. Roma LOVES the frogs, so I made this especially for her birthday!

Hi all!! Sorry I haven't updated my blog in a while. Things at my 1st party went pretty well. I had sooo much fun too!! I even got 1 recruit! YAY!! I haven't made too many things lately, whenever I think I'm going to get time something comes up and I don't get to it... I made a card for my brother's birthday, which is today! Well, here's my 1st challenge card. I kept it pretty simple..most men I know would rather skip on the frills and bows, so I saw this oragami shirt on SCS and thought it would be neat to make . Here's a few cards I made last night- I made a total of 5. These are flowerpot cards. You pull on the flowers and the inside card pulls out to reveal your message. I made these for Davins' sister's, mother, aunt, and grandma..

The other card is an accordian flower the I made for one of davin's sister. It was easy to make, and I figured out how to make it stay on the card. Use the SU! glue stick!! Fun, fun!! I'm enjoying this.

After enjoying my time in stamp club, I decided to sign up to be a Stampin' Up! demonstrator. I can't wait to recieve my kit. It will be like Christmas morning for me when that package arrives. I am so excited and can't wait to get started. I created a few things and thought I would share them with you. These ideas aren't mine, but I thought I would give a go and try to create these fabulous projects. I'm trying to get some ideas for my mom, who will be a teacher next year with her own classroom, so naturally I can't wait to make things for her desk and walls. Also, sometime in the very near future, I will be hosting an openhouse/workshop, where women can come and create a few cards and have fun making things. My 3rd baby arrived Monday the 16th @ 9:11am. Weighting in at 7lb 8oz. All is going well. I've had a bout of baby blues, but I should be back to my normal self in a week or so. I saw this really neat idea and decided to do this for my mom. It's so simple. All you do is take 3-4 paper bag (the lunch size) Use a hole punch and tie ribbon or you can put in eyelets. However, I don't have eyelets so I used ribbon only. Then just embellish to your desire.

Last night was my 1st time at Connie's Stamp Club. It was fun. We made this cute little desk calender/card holder. You got to chose which color you wanted, so I went with the yellow. It looks like it takes time to make, but I seriously had this thing stamped, glued, and put together in like 20 minutes. I was trying to hurry so I could get home before the storm hit Moore. LOL! But, I had a blast making this. I didn't even really use my directions that Connie printed out! I can't wait to see what else we get to make at Stamp Club.

Okay, I know. This is my 3rd time to create one of these accounts. I can't help it. I can't add photos to myspace, and facebook is a bit boring. I wanted something that I can post pics that my readers would enjoy.
For instance: I made this adorable Ghiridelli chocolate box today and I'm sending it to my exchange sister, who is living in New York right now. Very simple to make. I've also joined Connie's Stamp club, which starts next Tues. night for me, and I can't wait to make creative things. I'll also be blogging every so often my trial and errors geared towards raising my children.
Okay, off the subject, I just have to share this funny story with you. Yesterday was my anniversary, and my mom watched our kids so we could go out to see a movie. We went to Warren Theaters and sat in the balcony (very cool), we order our food and drinks (also very cool), we ate and drank to be merry (of course), and then the movie started. Well, me being 37 weeks pregnant had to go the bathroom during the middle of the movie. Now, if you've never sat in the balcony at this theater, let me explain that you have to walk down steps to get to your seats, so if you have to go pee, you have to walk up the steps. Well, all if fine and dandy, I take 2 steps up the stairs, and I FALL!!! It was a bit embarassing, but noone offered to help nor did they ask if I was okay. Okay, I hope that if I see a pregnant lady that I have the guts to offer help! My own hubby saw me fall, did he get out of his seat to escort me to the top of the stairs? Of course NOT!!! He just shook his head, and continued to watch the movie. How about that?? Other than me falling up the stairs, it was an overall great date night, we spent more money that anticipated but also realized that we won't be doing this for a long time. Well, now that I've humored you for the day I will go for now. Keep checking back often for more posts, cause I don't have anything else to do all day! :-)
